static hang:

hangs where the fabric is tied or tucked around your body in a way that maintains itself, so that if you were to relax all your muscles you'd remain hanging. (despite this, not all static hangs are so comfortable as to not be at all tiring; and some, like the hip keys, may only be statically stable if you've gotten into them with good form.)
