Dive to ramon
From Silkworms
dive to ramon:
(roll down)
this is conceptually something like the dive to crucifix, except that the end position is the slightly-less-exposed ramon wrap. from ramon wrap, instead of pulling the tail back against the pole, keep it going in the original direction and wrap the tail several extra times around your body. the number of wraps determines how many times your body can rotate during the fall.
then, grasp the tail tightly, unhook your leg, and fall.
like the dive to crucifix, you're basically unrolling in the fabric, and you can fall very fast; though it seems to be possible with practice to control the speed of rotation.
i've seen two different endings to this fall. you can keep rotating until the tail bears against the pole, stopping you. you'll need to keep a very strong grip on the tail, and control your body position in the fall well enough that your momentum carries you into a regular ramon wrap position and you don't fall out of it. alternately, on any rotation you can hook a leg back over the pole, stopping your rotation.
