David came to circus arts from juggling, and brought to them his main motivation for juggling: there's always something new to learn. Expanding into other arts in the Triton Troupers Circus in Chicago in the mid-1990's, he watched the aerial acts wistfully from the ground; when half his Burning-man camp tromped over to Firefly Dance's aerial silks classes in 2004, he eagerly leapt at the chance to fill in those skills, and has been exploring them with a grab-bag of Boston-local aerialists, the Silkworms, since.
